Firstly i have to say i was shocked this evening to see no one on my friends list playing this. 90% of people at the minute i would say are playing fifa 12 or gears of war 3, which is far enough as their both recent releases. I just want to make it clear, however, that it would be a crime to skip past RAGE this autumn. The game is amazing. It's one of the best looking games you will have ever seen on console period, The voice acting and character animations are superb. Enemies are smart, they don't just duck and bob behind the same piece of cover waiting to get shot in the head. They'll duck, roll, jump off the wall or ceiling, flank and duck again in every effort to make you miss. Huge amount of weapons with up to four ammo types for some of them, plus deployable turrets, r/c bomb cars, wingsticks, attack robots. There's so much more to do other than just the main quest, theres extra jobs to find, decent minigames to earn more cash, races, or just exploring the gorgous open world.… more »

Got my copy on release and was bored after 4 hours. The vsuals are some of the best ive seen but the story and overall gameplay is very poor and felt like stepping back in time. Its soooo repetitive, its basically do 1 pointless task and then another and another. The driving sections are also poor and felt old and clearly had little work applied.I would compare this game to dead island. If you liked that then this is right up your alley.personally i think games and most gamers have moved on from just preety graphics and need a little substance behind them.the visuals will only wow you for the first hour and then you will be asking why you should care about this game, you shouldnt is my response. There are better games coming that are more worthy of your money.

I got my rage Anarchy Edition game today it's on 3 dvd disc's, I think disc 3 is multiplayer disc so just installing disc 1&2 takes 14.9.gb but installing the wasteland sewers missions @ 329mb means you need 15.2gb free HDD space and 21.8gb with all 3 disc's installed.
A big game, I'm lovin it so far, good graphics and gameplay, this game seems and feels underated to me!

First things first - this game comes on 3 disks. So if you're like me and like to play off the HD then you're looking at around an hour just to install the thing. Once that's done you get the obligatory update (thankfully it's only around 30mb) and then you're into the game - and prepare to be amazed at the graphics! I thought maybe the screenshots I'd seen had (and may have been) from a ninja-spec PC version but it looks just as amazing on the 360. Gameplay however is another matter - it's a lot like Borderlands with you driving around doing missions (all of which revolve around you either shooting or locating something) there is no gray matter required in this game - drive to a location, kill everything and return for your prize. And that's mainly what I dislike - it gets repetitive after a while. Another thing I'd mention is that I did encounter a problem when it asked me to insert the 2nd disk - I dutifuly did as it required then it told me 'this game requires an update but the… more »

And that's mainly what I dislike - it gets repetitive after a while. Another thing I'd mention is that I did encounter a problem when it asked me to insert the 2nd disk - I dutifuly did as it required then it told me 'this game requires an update but the update can't be found' and then dumped me back to the 360 dashboard - nice. I simply started the game with the 2nd disk and it seemed to work ok. I've also had the game crash once in Blue Line Subway station - during the fight after you blow up the tunnel - restarted the checkpoint and it didn't happen again - but I have noticed this game makes your console VERY hot - maybe I'd just played it too long who knows. It's great game but apart from the great visual, it's all been done before - there's nothing groundbreaking here. If you're after a good shooter to satisfy your trigger finger then this is fine - if you're after something that requires a bit of thought then this isn't for you. Just my opinion.
