One of the best films of its genre to come out of the late 80s. Considering how poor quality the DVD version of the film was, it was surprising as to the quality of the blu-ray version. Consistently excellent with a generally excellent sound reproduction, the only sections that lacked were the sword clashing effects.....

What a brilliant, clever low budget film this is. With only 3 cast members in the whole film you would not believe how gripping and exciting it is. The story is going one way, then changes, over and over again throughout, you are completely hooked from the first to last minute. This film is proof that you don't need millions of holllywood dollars for a classic - which is exactly what this film is. Even the title of the film makes you think - even as the credits begin rolling. This film is a true hidden gem that all DVD/Blu Ray fans should have (and will love) in their collection. Brilliant.....

In terms of boxing games, and possibly fighting games as a whole, EA have shown themselves to be the leaders. However, you cant help but feeling that there are a few fundamental flaws with this game despite its lashings of polish.Graphically the game is outstanding; fighters go from an incredible likeness of their real life counterparts, to glistening with sweat and breathing heavily. Though the real glory of the graphics come from the injuries - fighters faces go from welted to unrecognisable depending on the punishment, and cuts start off as a small trickle before progressing to gashes that realistically splatter the opponent and stain the ring and shorts.....
