It is so easy to use that in next to no time he was taking pictures and enjoying the several games that come in built. With help, he now knows how to edit and 'enhance' the photos using the included software and the camera appears to be robust. This version has better light capturing and flash than the previous model, so I have no hesitation in recommending it as being suitable for an inquisitive child of similar age or older. I'm sure they'll get as much pleasure out of it as our son has.....
