First thing to do in replace the rom with Android 2.2 (Japan Jellyfish, unlocks too) and this phone is just the best Android phone EVER for the price. Same GPU as the Sony X10, so although its no snapdragon 1ghz cpu, the games run great, anything 3D runs great and its just a superb phone. Highly recommend. TFT screen on mine and its hi res and very good quality.....
